Murray Mallee Aged Care Group Inc. (MMACG) was formed in 1994 after a group of community members recognised that there was a desperate need for specialized in-home services for ageing people in the rural and remote regions of the Murray Mallee area. At the time nine local councils came together to address the districts’ needs and with the agreement of each council, an autonomous, not for profit organisation began. Until 2005 offices were located at the Murray Lands Retirement Village. Today our Administration office is located at 2a Myall Avenue, Murray Bridge, providing a modern, accessible 'open door' environment. There is also a fully equipped separate Meeting/Training Centre that is available for community use. In October 2017 we opened our Adelaide office situated at 10 Newton Road Campbelltown.
